When you browse

The website itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use advertising pixels, or track you across websites. It does not use Google Analytics or an analytics SDK. Images, fonts and other page assets are served with this site.

• There are no website accounts, payment fields or newsletter sign-ups.
• The site does not request your location, camera, microphone or contacts.
• Browsing a page or installing the home-screen app does not subscribe you to marketing messages.

Firebase Hosting, provided by Google, delivers this website. Your browser sends technical information needed to request files. Google states that Firebase Hosting uses incoming IP addresses to detect abuse and analyse service usage, and retains IP data for a few months. Google may process data outside Canada. When you contact HLM

The service request form asks for your first name, last name and email address, with an optional message. It prepares an email draft addressed to mail.hlmref@gmail.com with the details you entered. You review and send the message yourself in your email app. Completing the form does not send your enquiry details to Firebase Hosting or automatically send a message to HLM.

Once you send the email, HLM uses the information received to respond to your enquiry and discuss or arrange the service you request. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing.

The website does not save form entries in its offline cache or browser storage. While the form is open, your entries remain in the page's memory. Your browser or email app may separately retain autofill information or drafts according to your settings.

If you email or call directly, you choose the information you provide. This may include your name, contact details, service location and information about your equipment, for the same service-related purposes.

Email and telephone links open the relevant app on your device. Your email and telephone providers, and the providers HLM uses to receive communications, process those communications under their own arrangements. Please share only what is needed for your enquiry; do not email payment-card details or other sensitive information.

Service correspondence and records may need to be kept for the relevant service, accounting or legal purposes. Contact HLM for details about the handling and retention of your particular information.

Cookies and offline storage

This site uses browser storage to keep copies of public pages, images, fonts and other website files so previously loaded content can be available with a poor connection or offline. This feature uses a service worker and browser Cache Storage. It does not store service request entries or information you send by email or telephone, or create a personal advertising profile.

Offline storage can be created when you visit, even if you do not install the optional home-screen app. The browser manages how long cached files remain; a site update may replace them and your browser may remove them.

You can remove cached files through your browser's privacy or site settings by clearing this website's stored data. Menu names vary by browser. If you installed the home-screen app, you can also remove that app; you may still need to clear the site's data in the browser. A future visit can create the offline cache again. Clearing or blocking storage may limit offline access.
